My name is Patrycja. I am Registered Nurse who joined the team recently as a Deputy Manager.

Since I graduated as a nurse, I enjoy working in elderly care. I focus on delivering person-centred care to our residents. I work hard on making sure that our residents feel cared for and safe. I am very excited to be a part of Chestnut View family and to meet resident’s families and friends.

My name is Gabi and I have been working at Chestnut View since October 2018.

I’m in charge of ensuring facilities within the home are well maintained, and keeping on top of DIY jobs that need doing. I also keep our garden tidy! It’s important for our residents to feel safe in our home.

I enjoy working here because it is a warm, caring home and the staff and residents are friendly.

Hi, My name is Sarah Jane, but you can call me SJ. I’m one of the team leaders here at Chestnut View. I work closely with the residents, ensuring their needs are met, and also help motivate the team.
What I enjoy most about working at Chestnut View is being part of a team and having a special rapport with the residents and their families.

Hi, I’m Claire. I’m the Team Leader here at Chestnut View. My role is to oversee the team on duty, to ensure tasks are carried out properly and that residents needs go heard. We always ensure a high standard of care is delivered.
I love working at Chestnut View as I feel the team is a really friendly one, and we all have the same goal in mind- to provide the best quality of care to the residents.

My name is Lisa and I have been the Chef at Chestnut View Care Home in Haslemere for just over 5 years.

I believe that our residents should receive a variety of home-cooked healthy meals which I thoroughly enjoy preparing. Asides from meals and eating being an important activity, it is also important for their physical health to ensure they are staying healthy.

I enjoy getting to know what residents like to eat and whipping up favourite dishes. It is lovely to create birthday cakes for the residents to be shared around too!

I like working at Chestnut View because the staff and residents here are all incredibly friendly.

I’m the receptionist for Chestnut View- I’m usually the first person you will see when you enter our lovely home! My role keeps me very busy, but I enjoy the variety of my responsibilities and look forward to what each day may bring!
I have found the staff, residents and their relatives to be very warm and welcoming since I joined the team.

Hi, my name is Basil and I am the head of activities at Chestnut View Care Home. I served in the South African Defence Force in a Special Forces Unit and in the New Zealand Department of Corrections as an Officer. Later I was employed as a (HECPO) Hostile Environment Close Protection Officer, and was a Businessman in Africa in Manufacturing, Import/Exports, and in the UK in Nationwide Cleaners and Leaflets Distribution businesses. I entered the Care sector as an Activities Coordinator in various Care Homes in Hampshire for the past 6 years. I was then promoted to Assistant Manager in Aldershot for Assisted Living with challenging behaviours before joining Chestnut on the 16 November 2020. I am committed to making each day meaningful for all our residents and their needs.
